5 Artists

1) Barbara Hepworth

I really like her work because of the cut outs in her sculptures. The inside of the cutouts make it feel like it is creamy on the inside like a candy. She seems to work with round sculptures too which makes viewing the sculptures easy on the eyes.

2) Joan Miro

In our 3d foundations class our teacher showed us a video about this guy. He is really creative with his sculptures and large museums always want him to make pieces for the museum. the thirs image is my favorite because its like a wind chime that will spin with the wind.

Alberto Giacometti

Second Image

I like Alberto's stuff because he sticks to his style. He makes sculptures of what appear to be skinny but tall people and I think he pulls it off well. His work reminds me of African art that my sister brought home from her Ghana trip.

Henry Moore

I like how thick and massive Henry's works are. I really like the second image because it looks like an Elephant. Like the Elephant is struggling to get out of the ground.

Mark Di Suvero

Make was probably my favorite artist I researched. I really like his architectural type sculptures. They are like steel bars forming points and I think it looks really creative.
